in front of library  Looking for a quiet place to study or help with your class assignments? In the Library, students have access to thousands of books, eBooks, periodicals, and newspapers as well as rooms for group study sessions, computers with internet access, and photocopiers and scanners. Librarians are available to assist you with research assignments and all of the library's electronic resources.  If you can't make it into the library, you can get your questions answered online.

libraryPrint and electronic resources
DVC students have access to the library's collection of books, e-books, and electronic databases, which provide full-text articles from periodicals (magazines, journals, and newspapers).

Textbook reserve
Many textbooks are available for checkout in the library. Textbooks can be checked out for up to three hours and must stay in the library. You can search for your textbooks by course number or instructor name.

library computer labComputers and copy machines
Students have access to 40 student computers with internet access in the Information Commons and a separate computer lab that is open when not being used for instruction. There are two copy machines in the library, one which can make color copies. 


library art exhibitExhibits
The library has an active exhibits program, which showcases college and local artists. Information on the current exhibit is posted on the library home page.

Library Technology program
Whether you are interested in learning about library technology just to build your own researching skills or to assist others in their quest for information, a library technology certificate or associate in science degree can help you seek a career in library science or advance your skills for other industries.
