Future CSU Transfers!

Get through your math requirements faster with STATWAY!

STATWAY is an accelerated statistics pathway for students who are liberal arts, fine arts or humanities majors. (NOT for science, technology, engineering, math, business or nursing majors).

  • Do you plan on transferring to a CSU campus?
  • Are you a liberal arts, fine arts or humanities major?
  • Are you qualified to enroll in Elementary Algebra (MATH-090) or Intermediate Algebra (MATH-120)?

If you can answer yes to all these questions, STATWAY is for you!

What is STATWAY?
STATWAY is a two semester, 8 unit alternative to the traditional three semester, 14 unit sequence normally required to complete Elementary Statistics.

STATWAY students engage in classroom activities that introduce statistical concepts and skills. Students learn the required mathematical ideas and skills in the context of learning statistics.
