Note: This course is open to all, but is particularly appropriate for high school students entering 10th, 11th or 12th grade in the fall term.
This course will offer students an overview of current and emerging career opportunities, resume development, career exploration, industry site visits, review of basic skills required in the culinary industry, hands-on practice through the preparation of healthy foods and the integration of sustainable practices as they relate to the hospitality industry with an emphasis on teamwork.
