Note: Access to Internet required. Culinary and food service students must have a current record of satisfactory tuberculosis (TB) screening on file with the Culinary (CULN) office by the beginning of classes. Students are required to supply their own equipment and uniforms depending on the class. See instructor at the first class meeting.
Using lectures and online internet-based tools, subject experts from the fields of energy efficiency, water efficiency and waste will teach students about the impacts of efficient, environmentally sustainable operations on food service. Students will learn to make real world decisions regarding these issues based on science and sound economics. CSU
