This course is designed for ESL students at the high intermediate level who need preparation for college level reading and related study skills. Class activities include a close exploration of the reading process - especially of textbook materials; development of critical thinking skills; vocabulary development; listening practice and note-taking; use of dictionary and other reference resources; academic and cultural orientation.
