Students will learn how to apply techniques and concepts of intermediate algebra and critical thinking to the solving of contemporary problems in mathematics. The course is a survey of topics that may include (but are not limited to): exponential functions, logarithmic scales, probability, statistics, finance, matrix operations, logic and geometry.
