This course introduces the function, operation and characteristics of various types of direct current, alternating current, single phase and three phase motors. The course will explore the basic principles and practices of electric motor control including electro-mechanical and solid state digital devices, ladder logic, standard circuits, starters, transformers, relays, timers, and other devices.
